About PMTC

Hello all
I’m Bororu 😘(DA).
This month is the last month of the year, so it’s time to evaluate, reflect on, and calculate the results of this year.
I joined Aobakai Corporation in April of this year and learned a lot. Coming to Sendai to work was a fantastic opportunity that opened a new door in my life. I am grateful.
First, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the head of the hospital, Dr. Kasahara, and his beautiful wife, who led this beautiful team as a single unit and as an example.
Through this vlog, I would like to express my gratitude to my colleagues who have been with me, worked with me, and grown up together.
May the coming year be filled with happiness, peace of mind, and joy for everyone.

Well, let’s go to this vlog.
Cleaning/PMTC story.
Professional mechanical tooth cleaning is a method in which plaque is removed from all tooth surfaces and surrounding areas by experts using various instruments and fluoride-containing paste. It’s prevention, not dental treatment.
Treatment
What is the purpose of PMTC? Its purpose is to remove bacteria (biofilm) that cause dental diseases. Some biofilms attached to surfaces for a long time cannot be removed with a toothbrush.
What is biofilm?
It is a substantial collection of plaque, a mass of bacteria. It tends to stick to the tooth surface, is difficult to peel off, and repels antibacterial drugs, so tooth brushing cannot altogether remove it. This biofilm causes tooth decay and periodontal disease. To explain biofilm in an easy-to-understand way, it is a slimy substance that sticks to things like kitchen sinks and bathroom bathtubs.
Where does biofilm stick? It sticks to places that are difficult to reach with the tip of a toothbrush, such as between teeth, at the border between teeth and gums, and around fillings and crowns.
If I perform PMTC, I don’t need to brush my teeth.
PMTC is just an act of care, so you should brush your teeth. Do your best to improve what you can. To maintain dental health, brush your teeth and PMTC. You must maintain the balance.

Thank you🥹
