For children at risk of cavities😮

Hello I am Bororu (DA) in Kasahara dental clinic.
It`s already autumn. How is everyone going?
This month was my birthday, and the chairman delivered to my home a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a birthday present. The big surprise moved me. It was very romantic and felt like an autumn scene, showing the beautiful colors of the Momiji (autumn leaves) falling on my heart.
It is our staff blog. Do you want to get more information about what treatment is necessary for children at high risk of cavities in our clinic?

These blogs intend to provide helpful information and knowledge for our patients.

{For children at high risk of cavities}
Regular check-ups by your doctor are necessary to prevent tooth decay from progressing.
What is acute dental caries?
The grooves in deciduous teeth (milk teeth) are often complicated, and cavities can spread rapidly on the inside for one day. They are more likely to develop caries to appear as if the ceiling is falling suddenly. Children are more susceptible to cavities called acute caries, and the risk of tooth decay is higher than in adults.
What is CO?
Refers to teeth where cavities have begun to progress or are likely to begin to progress. There is no need for immediate treatment; in many cases, it can be improved by changing how you brush your teeth or using fluoride.
What is the second caries?
When bacteria enter a previously treated tooth through the tiny gap between the filling or crown, the tooth becomes a cavity again. Teeth that have been treated once have a higher risk of developing cavities, so care must be taken. If cavities in deciduous teeth are left untreated for too long, it can negatively impact permanent teeth (adult teeth).
What must be the recommendation?
Acute tooth caries require early detection and treatment, and in children at high risk of developing cavities, regular check-ups once every three months may not detect the problem too late, and the pain may become severe. To prevent the disease from worsening, the progress of cavities is checked by the same doctor every month in addition to regular check-ups once every three months.
Promise
It takes about 10 minutes once. We will guide you to a fixed number of people to arrive within a 30-minute gap starting at 00:00 or 30:00, so according to our hospital`s system, we will notify you of your reservation time by (SMS) (for example) 1:40 p.m. Please arrive at the hospital by 1:30 p.m. even if it says so. Also, once you cancel, making a reservation for this popular content will be difficult. In the unlikely event that you cancel, be sure to contact us as soon as possible.
Doctor check
This is done for children under 15 at high risk for cavities called CO and C1. The doctor`s check may include applying fluoride, sealant (preventative treatment to fill in the grooves on the occlusal surface), visual inspection of eruption disorders, risk assessment, etc., as necessary.
It is impossible to wholly prevent cavities with dental check-ups and fluoride treatment alone. Let`s work together to protect your child`s teeth if such habits are required. Because cavities are caused by various factors, improving their eating habits at home, brushing their teeth, and balancing self-care (at home) and professional care (at the dental clinic).

Thank you. We are looking forward to seeing you in our clinic.
